FIF7 and Futebol 7 Américas Announce the Americas League with a Record Prize of 200,000 Dollars

The Federation Internationale de Football 7 (FIF7), in partnership with Futebol 7 Américas, has officially announced the launch of the Americas League, a tournament set to become the largest event of the sport on the continent. With a total prize pool of 200,000 dollars, the competition reinforces the rapid growth of Football 7 as one of the fastest-expanding sports in the Americas.

The announcement follows the resounding success of the World Championships held in Brazil, which brought together elite clubs and national teams and boosted the sport’s international visibility. Now, the focus shifts to strengthening continental competition, highlighting the efforts of athletes, clubs, and federations that have been investing in the development of the sport.

With over 100 teams from at least five countries expected to take part, the Americas League will feature national and regional stages leading up to a major final phase. The tournament aims not only to raise the competitive standard but also to create new opportunities for visibility, business, and cultural exchange among the main Football 7 stakeholders across the Americas.
